Kate Moss gets candid
Kate Moss revealed her daughter repeats lines from The Devil Wears Prada.
The British supermodel is mother to ten-year-old Lila Grace, her daughter with her ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack.
Moss's daughter has taken a shine to the 2006 movie about the fashion world, (come on, let's be honest, it was Anna Wintour at Vogue, whom Moss enjoys a close relationship with) which starred Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
''She's watched The Devil Wears Prada ten times and she's got a desk in her room with a phone. She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office.' I say, 'Lila, do you know who Miranda Priestly is in real life?' But she just doesn't care,'' Kate laughed to Allure magazine.
''She's like, 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office. Can you hold? Patrick Demarchelier on the line!' I died when I heard her do it. So funny. She doesn't have a clue who she is, but it's word for word.''
Moss appears on the cover of Allure with the image and accompanying spread shot by Mario Testino.
In one picture she is seen in a lavish fur coat while barking dogs stand next to her, while another is a close up of her face with barely-there make-up.
She discusses her approach to fashion in the interview, admitting there are some things she wouldn't go near.''I try to be a little bit chic. I wouldn't wear sweatpants. I wouldn't wear a twinset,'' she explained.
''I don't mind a bikini bottom. My husband likes lines on the bum - men like white bums I try not to have a white boob.''
The star is married to The Kills rocker Jamie Hince.
Moss also dispensed some beauty advice, claiming the best thing for women to remember is to wash their hair. If she is ever in doubt about whether hers needs a shampoo, she immediately jumps in the shower.
The star is naturally slight and many claim she was responsible for the emergence of the waif and heroin chic trends. It's something which still troubles Moss.
''It was horrible, especially the anorexic thing,'' she admitted.
''The heroin, I was like, 'Oh, it's just ridiculous I don't do heroin. Just because I wear a bit of black eyeliner that's smudged' But the anorexic thing was a lot more upsetting, to be held responsible for somebody's illness. I wasn't anorexic.''
Moss remains one of the most famous models in the business, something she has got to grips with over the years.
''Everyone's a celebrity. But I'm kind of a celebrity now, so even though I'm not an actress, people know my name. I'm not just a face,'' she said
