Teeny-weeny bikinis in a delicious marble-come-tropical print by Aquarella Swimwear.

This one-piece by A.Che Swimwear is simple with just the right amount of detail. She looks like she just walked straight off a James Bond set, aka great.

Great bodies, great boardies - all round win. Love the contrasting prints on the waistbands of these Maaji Swimwear shorts.

The turquoise blue of the Naila Swimwear one-piece may be pretty, but this little heart-breaker is stealing the show with his swagger. Future Zoolander in the making.

Hats were something of a theme at the Swimwear shows. Exhibit A: The monochrome ringmaster sporting a surprisingly flattering strapless suit by Caitlin Kelly Swimwear and Exhibit B: A Missoni-esque twist-front one-piece marred by an average pink straw fedora by Naila Swimwear.

I was in two minds about this Caitlin Kelly Swimwear design but A. I wouldn't be surprised if Ri-Ri is eyeing up this outfit for her next shopping trip in Monaco and B. The hat may be ridiculously over-sized but it reminds me of something a glam socialite lounging by the pool in the Hamptons would wear, and rock.

A swimwear show wouldn't be complete without a handful of beautiful beach-side kaftans. These two are by Naila Swimwear and Caffe Swimwear.

This tribal-inspired one-piece by Mara Hoffman is great, the multi-strap cut-outs on the back set it apart from the rest.

The bandeau bikini is always a great option if you're after minimal tan lines. The leopard print number by Caffe Swimwear is a classic, and the neon colour of the Zingara Swimwear design is the perfect hue to set off a summer tan.

Tribal print trends were everywhere, these bikinis by Caitlin Kelly and Maaji Swimwear led the charge.

The lace-up front on this Wildfox Swimwear suit is just sexy enough, and I'm loving the neck detail and lizard-inspired print on this Aguaclara Swimwear design.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim is THE swimwear fashion show of the year, held where else but Miami Beach, Florida.

Bronzed-up, long-limbed beauties, as well as a few buff beach babes of the male variety, stormed the catwalk showcasing everything from the ever-popular string bikini to some interesting cut-out togs and stunningly beautiful kaftans.

Here is a collection of the standout pieces that have left us hankering for some sunshine and sand, stat.
