This week we're obsessed with ...
SUPERMODELS & SELFIES: Yes this video is incredibly banal, but we also can't stop watching it. Check it out.
THESE SOLID SHAMPOOS: We're working our way through a third bar of this amazing local product and are genuinely obsessed (our fave is the pictured, damage control, $20, as it leaves our hair feeling super clean but not fluffy and is so minty smelling even the men in our lives notice the fragrance!). The product isn't soap, it's low-pH shampoo, just without the water; each bar lasts us about three months and is wrapped in water soluble paper (waste free). The solid-ness of the product means we can scrub our scalp and it feels a lot cleaner than when we wash with liquid shampoo. The best thing? We have three pairs of shampoo and conditioner to give away! Just email firstname.lastname@example.org with what shampoo you think you'd like and if you win we'll put you in touch with the brand's founder Brianne who will diagnose you with the right option. For more, head here.
THE ULTIMATE MASH-UP: A mastermind on the internet had the idea to dub the greatest R&B song of the Nineties, Ginuwine's My Pony, over a 2002 routine by Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko. The result? A fake-muscle-filled four minutes of glory that will have humans of all genders falling off their seats with desire. A) HOW amazing is it when he impromptu gets his comically giant comb out for a groom? B) This is from 2002?! That's some seriously dated shiz right there. C) The dance at 3.01 completes us. Check it out.
THIS HAUTE DRESS: Miss Piggy and Kermit The Frog are now husband and wife, and the princess of porcine had a bespoke dress designed for her by none other than Vivienne Westwood. Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out - at least Miss Pigs had the sense not to attach a feather to her head. Miss Westwood said this about the design: "It has been designed especially ...in a white pearl sequin fabric made from recycled water bottles. It’s the perfect choice for a royal sow."
THESE SLOW-MOS: Some Vimeo genius called Alejandro has taken all of director Wes Anderson's slow-motion shots and turned them into one four minute meditation on whimsy, Seventies fashion and cinematic beauty that actually gives us goosebumps. Next time Biebs does something idiotic and we get a stress rash we're just going to put this beaut' on loop. Check it out.
