We're getting pretty accustomed to Lorde taking out high-profile accolades for her musical prowess, but the 17-year-old's latest achievement comes in the form of a prestigious fashion shoot.
She of those hauntingly catchy melodies features in the March issue of style bible, Vogue, wearing Miu Miu no less.
Titled 'Lorde: The Music Phenomenon of the Year' the article begins by complimenting something that is perhaps Lorde's most impressive talent - the ability to write soulful, yet evocative, music complete with tricky wordplay in a time where the art of meaningful rhyming in music is all but lost.
Despite having 'made it' by so many others' standards, due in part to her song-writing, she says she is far from done and talks about her interest in short fiction writing which she has dabbled in "for a long time."
"I feel like I'm not yet sitting comfortably in what I'm doing, and I definitely feel a hunger for branching out," she says in what Vogue writer Nathan Heller describes as a 'lilting accent'.
Lorde's personal style has been something of a talking point throughout her time in the spotlight, and will undoubtedly continue to be so according to Vogue.
In the magazine she is described as having an "exotic appeal" with "cutting blue eyes" and an "almost otherworldly eccentricity".
In other words, it seems as though the fashion set have well and truly embraced Lorde's particular brand of nonchalance - not bad for a girl who puts her style choices down to "things that make me feel powerful and strong."
The one nugget of inspiration Lorde should take from this experience? Aqua blue is your best friend, wear it more often!
Other than that, keep doing what you're doing.
