I had the luck the other day of going to visit Liz Mark - co-owner and designer of Boho Jewellery. Liz and her business partner Alecia Koenigsberger source beads and parts from all over the world - wood, coral, Chinese jade, antique silver from markets in Paris, old rosary beads and a million other interesting things - and build them into eclectic jewellery from their studio in Wellington.
Going in there was a visual feast - with boxes and trays of raw materials and special finds from all over, all together in one room. Lucky I took my camera, because I decided to take you on a wee virtual tour...
The studio, as you can see, is a fiesta of totally delicious bits and bobs. It must be so much fun putting all these things together into works of wearable art!
And now for the jewellery...
Liz and Alecia also make a heap of sweet little pieces as well, but you know me - I'm addicted to the big stuff!
To see more of Boho Jewellery or buy online go here.
I'm settling into the new Auckland office today, sorting computers, making my desk look pretty et al - wish me luck with the technology gods!
Have a happy Monday!
