Chocolate lovers rejoice: New Zealand's latest chocolate festival will be unveiled next weekend at Wellington's InterContinental Hotel.

Chocolatiers from all over the country will gather to treat patrons, with various demonstrations and tastings.

Chocoholics will be able to test their knowledge at hosted tasting sessions, visit a chocLick culinary theatre class, or watch a pastry team create a metre-high sculpture.

Festival manager Iva Sajdl says anyone who still hasn't had their fill of the world's favourite confectionary can tempt their tastebuds further, with a five-course savoury chocolate dinner at the capital's Chameleon restaurant.
