A saucy Australian cook is seeking more dough to bring her new cookbook project to fruition.

Babe Scott believes she has the perfect recipe for success - mixing buff blokes with copious amounts of cake - and has made a steamy video plea for cash so she can get 'Man Candy and Cupcakes' off the ground.

Scott, who now lives in the US, says the book combines the two things close to every woman's heart.

"It aims to be a feast for the eyes and the stomach," she says. "It will be lust on a plate."

Scott, who has previously written books on dating, says she got the idea after her Man Candy posts attracted lots of fans on Facebook.

"Every time I posted a photo of a hot guy in the kitchen, my Facebook followers would go wild. It was like ladies' night online. I realized I needed to serve up more regular servings of Man Candy."

Scott is hoping to raise $22,000 by October 18 and wants to involve the book's backers in the whole process, including inviting them to help her choose the "Fabios of frosting".
