Dairy-free, gluten-free smoothie
Smoothies are our favourite way to get all the goodness into our fussy eaters and are considered a huge treat for dessert, breakfast, afternoon tea or an anytime snack.
Heaps of bananas is the key to making this taste good.
If your own little munchkins request specific colours just alter the amount of ingredients ... For a Ninja Turtle green smoothie use more kale, for a pink smoothie lessen the kale and use more strawberries, and for purple up the blueberries and lessen the kale.
|1/2 cup Almond Milk OR V8 fruit & vege juice (not the tomato based one!)|
|1/2 cup Water|
|2 Bananas or more|
|1 Apple, peeled and sliced|
|Frozen berries, defrosted - Blueberries, strawberries.. any berries|
|Kale, 2-4 leaves destalked and chopped|
|Optional - kiwifruit, orange, pear, etc|
|1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker.|
