ADD COLOUR: I normally will use a mixture of capsicums for colour, so a bit of green a bit of red and a bit of orange or yellow capsicum.

NEED TO KNOW

Main ingredient Beef
Type of dish Stir-fry
Course Dinner
Cooking time 30 min - 1 hour
Serves/makes 4
Special options None

This stir fry is really quick to prepare and cook and tastes yummy.

I normally use a mixture of capsicums just for colour, so a bit of green, a bit of red and a bit of orange or yellow capsicum if you've got it is great.

500 grams of thinly cut steak strips
Mushrooms, sliced
Spring onions, chopped
Capsicums, sliced
Broccoli, cut into small pieces
Any other veges you like in a stir fry
Oil for frying
Crispy fried noodles
1 Tbsp golden syrup
1 - 2 Tbsp of dark soy sauce, depending on preference

1. Throw the steak strips on to the hot barbecue plate and toss until brown. Set aside.

2. Add a little oil to the grill, then add veges and keep tossing them.

3. Pour over the golden syrup and soy sauce.

4. Add meat and keep tossing until veges are just cooked, but still a little crunchy. It'll only take around two minutes on the hot plate.

5. Serve with crispy fried noodles.
