PORK SHOGAYAKI
Serves 2

1 clove garlic, finely chopped
4cm piece grated ginger
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin
2 tablespoons sake
450g thinly sliced pork scotch fillet or stir-fry strips
1 tablespoon sunflower or peanut oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Put the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, mirin and sake into a bowl with the pork. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat a wok, add the oil and stir-fry the meat for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

Serve with rice and shredded cabbage and scatter with the toasted sesame seeds.
