Furry Friday: Ginger cats in all their glory
Lucy was a spectacular Anzac-biscuit ginger. RIP Lucy.
There isn't just one shade or type of ginger cat. Among gingers you'll see colourings that are caramelly, milky, bright orange, and every nuance of hue in between. You'll see tabbies and tuxedos, spots and streaks.
So when there's a Furry Friday devoted to ginger and mostly-ginger cats, you won't see a police lineup of identical animals but a range of shadings as well as sizes, shapes and characters. Scroll down to enjoy this collection of spicy and spectacular gingers.
And a shout-out to some hard-working cat-lovers who I've blogged about before: Wellington's Cats Protection League. The CPL has its yearly collection on Friday, so if you're in the capital and see their volunteers about, give them a bit of support! Or visit their website.
