Trend alert: It's face time and we love it
There's a trend emerging in decor and we're going to be the ones to call it.
Perhaps the next step in the indie evolution that made hand-crafted goods cool again, the latest decor motif to emerge is the hand-drawn face.
Faces (usually female) have been present in art since art began, but this trend also includes paired back versions of the animal kingdom. Rabbits, cats, pandas, koalas, birds and more.
Altogether, it's a motif that pairs well with clean lines and contemporary styling.
There's so much to love in the share above. Blush and terracotta is the cool kids pairing for using pink this season, and the face in focus personifies the trend.

ADORN THE CHAIRS, DON'T CARE
The absent expression and bright colours of the Face It pillow seem fresh out of a Fauvist painting.
I shall redub this pillow's design, 'Slightly surprised indie blonde.'
TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL
There's nothing excessive about the adorable rabbit represented here.
We have heart eyes for the heart eyes face.
DOWN TO THE GROUND
Hats off to this simplistic grizzly in the sunshine.
