Don't own a set of napkin rings? A little DIY faux ceramic napkin ring project might be in order.

EQUIPMENT

Oven bake clay (we used half a small block of Sculpey clay)
Sculpey glaze
Acrylic paint (watered down)
Baking paper
Rolling pin
Black ink pen

METHOD

Roll the clay into a small ball, then roll into an oblong shape.

Place the oblong in between two sheets of baking paper and roll out with the rolling pin (the length should be around 10 - 15cm).

Curl the clay into a ring and bake according to packet instructions (around 10 minutes in an 150 degree celsius oven).

Allow the clay to cool.

Paint with your watered down paint to produce a water-coloured effect. Allow to dry.

Use the ink pen for the crosses.
