Audrey Hepburn's former LA mansion is on the market for $19 million
The former Los Angeles home of actress Audrey Hepburn has been put on the market for $19 million.
Located in the affluent neighbourhood of Holmby Hills, the 650 square metre house was built in 1938 by architect Paul Williams and has been the home of numerous Old Hollywood stars, including Hepburn, Mia Farrow and Eva Gabor.
Inside the gated estate you'll find six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a tennis court, private gardens and a large pool.
The interiors of the home, which remain largely unchanged from when it was first built, are just as glamorous as its former owner.
At the entrance to the home, guests are greeted by a mirror-lined formal foyer with a large chandelier that leads to a spacious family room and living room with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves.
There's a grand formal dining room, a small and comfortable breakfast room and a gourmet kitchen.
Apart from the main house is a 65 sqm guest house equipped with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a 92 sqm staff apartment, which can be transformed into a detached office, that includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and two bathrooms.
