Shane Warne continues to morph into Johan van der Smut from Goldmember, as seen in his latest funny-for-the-wrong-reasons selfie.

He seems to love to practise a 'smize', show off his tan and newly-acquired pecs, and so shared a post-swim snap with his 1.4 million Twitter followers yesterday, captioning it, "had fun today with the kids & managed to work on the tan too!! Hahaha." 

The now commentator, 44, does have a good dose of self-deprecating humour but he has been burnt on Twitter before, mocked for an in-bed dreamy-eye selfie that his own daughter commented on, telling him to take it down as it was embarrassing. 

The reactions to his latest photo are not much different, with tweeters responding with gems like:

'What frequencies do you pick up with those nipples?"

"First thing I see on twitter this morning, Shane Warne's Grindr-like selfie. Eew."
