One of actor Charlie Sheen's former lovers has revealed he sent Twitter messages while having sex.

Sheen, 46, joined the social media website in 2011. He was dating two women at the time - dubbed his 'goddesses' - and one of them has opened up about his unusual private life.

Bree Olson is launching a music career, with her debut track including the line, "He's posting Twitter tweets during sex with me."

"Charlie discovered Twitter when we started dating, so we had some funny experiences. I thought of him when I wrote that lyric," she told the New York Post. "Yes, he would tweet in bed."

Sheen gained more than one million followers in just two days when he first signed up to the site. He famously entertained his fans with his catchphrases, including the terms 'winning' and 'tiger blood'.

He deleted his account over the weekend after apparently deciding he wasn't getting much out of it anymore.

"He was really excited about Twitter," Olson said. "I wasn't offended by it at all. I thought it was more funny than anything."

Another of Olson's lyrics refers to a partner who wears more jewellery than she does, which was also inspired by Sheen.

"It's just supposed to be a light, funny song about Hollywood in general," Olson said.
