Nellie Tier Lip Scrub, $12. "This delicious lip scrub using granules of cane sugar to gently scrub away dead skin. Sweet almond oil and orange blossom leaves them soft, sweetly scented and supple".

Sax Liquid Eyeliner, $14.95. "This long-wearing eyeliner comes with a tiny brush for perfect precision."

UBU Brushes, $16 foundation brush and $18 Kabuki. "The price of a good brush can run into the hundreds, and while they will last you a lifetime, it’s sometimes impossible to fork out for them. I find UBU brushes do the job well, they apply makeup streak-free and smoothly, don’t moult, and are easy to wash and dry. The Kabuki is great for applying powder, and it’s also a fantastic colour!"

Rimmel Max Bold Curves Mascara, $18. "My go-to affordable mascara used to be Maybelline but with their prices creeping upwards all the time, I’ve started using Rimmel. This gives the lashes a lovely thick look".

O.P.I Nail Polish Remover with Aloe Vera, $7.90. It may be the brand the professionals use, but it’s also totally affordable. This nail polish remover has aloe vera to soothe, and removes all traces of colour.

Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk with Olive Milk, $3.99. "This easy peasy body wash is deeply moisturising and smells divine when lathered".
