Best and worst dressed of the week
The Best - Miranda Kerr and Orlando came out for the Golden Globes after parties, and this Zuhair Murad gown is our pick of the week. The rich colour works perfectly with her chocolate hair, and she's toned down the original dress' thigh split, which we think was a good decision.
The Good - While many fashion commentators think this Louis Vuitton check look is just a little too flag-like - and the designer's one-note checkered Spring collection is getting tired - we think Jessica Alba really pulled this off (this was her second look of the Golden Globes night, the one for the parties).
The Good - Naomi Watts looks amazing at the moment, and this halterneck Gucci gown is no exception. Our eyes are also firmly fixed on that clutch candy, which is by Ferragamo (so prob a bit over our budget).
The Good - Aussie actress Rose Byrne smashed it out the park twice this week. First in a pajama-style DVF look at the G'day Australia event (we'd only be brave to wear one piece at a time, though). Then she stepped out in a part-leather plum Jill Stuart ensemble for the I Give It A Year premiere. Subtle but sleek.
The Good - We love this A-line Valentino dress paired with no-fuss hair, the perfect decision for the 2013 Awards Season Tea Party. Brava Sienna Miller!
The Worst - One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush wore this Lisa Ho monstrosity to the Golden Globes after parties. We can't decide what lets it down more, the frothy ruffles or the fact it looks like she's wearing tennis shorts underneath.
The Bad - Is this backless? Because it looks mighty like a hospital gown. This is an especially odd decision considering Amanda Peet's at a Golden Globes after party.
The Bad - The Art of Elysium's 6th Annual Heaven Gala was a glam affair, and while we like that Patricia Arquette is kooky, and appreciate that this is probably not real fur - her being a PETA advocate - that doesn't help the fact that this outfit makes her look like a member of the Night's Watch in Game Of Thrones.
The Bad - We understand that it's not high on Bam Margera's agenda to please the people who write best and worst dressed lists, but really? The ill-fitting dirty jacket was enough, but those jeans?
The Bad - Lady Victoria Hervey is a socialite and, as most publications describe her, former 'it girl' (ouch). And despite what this Jean Fares Couture tin foil gown would have you believe, she's only 36. She's at a Golden Globes after party. She obviously enjoyed herself - her post-party tweet: "Last night was epic..Party at sunset towers was so fun my voice sounds like a man today!!. Jamie foxx djing rocked it. Body numb..;-)"

Who was your best dressed of the week?
They have swathes of stylists and the world's top designers at their beck and call, but that doesn't mean celebrities always get it right.
Every week we bring you the good, the bad and the just plain ugly in A-list fashion choices. This week, we haven't touched the biggest event of the week, the Golden Globes ceremony, as we have that covered here. But we did tap into the looks at the night's after-parties (when the celebs really let their hair down).
