As though crowd-sourcing funds for your wedding, "morning-after" and "miniature bride" photography weren't cringe-worthy enough, we have another disturbing new trend to add to that list - bridal bikinis.

Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen has been engaged for eighteen months now, and she's milking it for all it's worth - what with the reality-show segments, food blogging specials and an elaborate bridal shower sponsored by Gilette Venus. Her upcoming wedding to Grammy-hogging crooner John Legend has become a full-blown enterprise.

Her latest project? A sexy bridal bikini collection, made in collaboration with California-based label Beach Bunny.

The bikinis, designed for beach-bound brides and inspired by Teigen's planned honeymoon to the Maldives, saw its debut at Miami Fashion Week. Check out the look book featuring Kate Upton, who models the range in a totally non-ironic way ...

Attached with veils and bedazzled with Swarovski crystals and Chantilly lace, the skimpy designs manage to make that huge, cake topper ball gown look suitably understated. And, just in case the garter belt-inspired trim weren't enough to give it away, a few choice designs have "BRIDE" emblazoned on the derriere.

Forget strapless wedding dresses, "bikini" is definitely the hardest bridal style to pull off. The last and only person to do so successfully? Pammy Anderson back in 2006.
