TIME TO SHINE: Poor Pippa will have to work hard to create a more memorable wedding moment than her famous back shot from the royal occasion.

Pippa Middleton is reportedly engaged.

The sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge has been dating banker Nico Jackson for over a year and it's now been claimed she has accepted his proposal.

Nico is said to have popped the question while the pair were on holiday at the five star resort of Oberoi Amarvilas in India.

"It was exactly how he planned it," an insider told Us Weekly magazine. "Very romantic and grand!"

The pair have kept their news secret over the last few weeks, preferring to tell friends and loved ones as and when they see them.

They are planning to spend some of the festive period together and will be with Pippa's family on their UK estate on December 26. Afterwards they will jet to the Alps for a holiday to see in the New Year.

It's not the first time rumours of an engagement have swirled around Pippa, 30, and her partner.

There was speculation he had got down on one knee in September, but they were later refuted by her representative.

Pippa and Nico quickly became serious, with claims she was ready to settle down after a holiday together to Switzerland earlier this year.

"Pippa's told friends she's met The One," a source previously told British magazine Look. "Pippa is totally smitten with Nico. I think they've already chatted about moving in together.

"She loves the fact that the whole fame thing doesn't bother him and he's already had the seal of approval from her family."
