All Blacks first-five and Chiefs first-five rugby player Aaron Cruden is set to marry his long-time love this weekend.

Cruden, 25, will marry sports teacher Grace King in a top-secret location in Manawatu tomorrow.

It is believed the wedding is covered by a magazine deal, and that guests had been told to meet at a bus that will take them to the venue.

Cruden has been spotted around Palmerston North in the past week, and celebrated his 25th birthday two days ago.

In 2008, a year after they met, Cruden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of testicular cancer, which spread to his lungs.

He had nine tough weeks of chemotherapy and a testicle was removed.

"We just got on with it and tried to stay positive," Cruden told Woman's Day when the couple's engagement was announced last year.

"The support and love she showed me when I was sick made me realise I had found a real keeper. I realised she was just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out."
