Jennifer Lawrence has appeared in a photo published in Martha Stewart's Real Weddings magazine as a bridesmaid for her brother's wedding.

Can you imagine how great that wedding would have been? Martha Stewart-style with J-Law giving the best toast and dancing all night. Now that's a wedding where you'd want to eat chicken and then jump straight onto the dancefloor and hit the Sprinkler.

Just in case you wanted to really feel part of what must have been a momentous occasion for all those involved, check out their registry here.

We're guessing J-Law didn't opt for a run-of-the-mill kitchen implement, but instead splurged on a couple's skydive or something equally thrilling.

As The Gloss noted, while she looks incredibly beautiful, the bridesmaid dress J-Law's wearing is a bit bridal-y, but in a kind of nutty colour.

Julia Sonenshein chirpily notes:

"Oh well. It's a relief to see Lawrence in a bridesmaid dress that's not a total home run, just like the rest of us who suffer through endless chiffon in a color that makes us look like a yellow crayon. Celebrities are just like us!"

It's also understandable, remember the times when women put their bridesmaids in terrible dresses lest she be upstaged?

Well that has pretty much flown out the window in these Instagrammed days, but just quietly, most of us don't have a Hollywood Oscar winning actress as our best lady/bridal slave.

J-Law has reportedly been a bridesmaid before according to this Tweet:
