Tomorrow one of my bestest friends in the world is marrying her darling.
Her darling and my Beyonce are cousins-of-sorts and he and I met for the first time at their engagement party.
Looking back, it was a spur of the moment, last minute decision to attend their engagement party but one that obviously changed the course of my life very quickly.
We often find ourselves saying "Imagine if I hadn't gone to that party and we'd never met" and then we quickly decide that we would have met anyway, and some stage, at another time.
And we probably would have. My friend and her soon-to-be husband had often commented to each other about how perfect he and I would be together and the little cupids hit the nail on the head.
Anyway, this is just a quick post to publicly thank these two amazing people in our lives for changing the course of ours. It's SO awesome that one of my oldest friends is now becoming family of sorts, so we'll get to go through all our future milestones together.
T & C, we love you guys. Have the best day tomorrow and thank you for everything you have done.
How did you meet your partner? Did you have a similar 'off-chance' meeting? Do you have a message to the person/people involved in you and your partner getting together?
P.S. This thing below just cracks me up. It's Friday, so I thought we all deserve a wee laugh.
