Stuff's wedding of the week: Kristina & Richard
From their very first date, Kristina knew Richard would be her husband - and she was right.
The couple got engaged in Bali - on a waterslide, no less! - and decided to tie the knot there as well.
The big day featured a beautiful setting, plenty of family and friends to celebrate with, and fireworks - what more could you want?
We'll let Kristina fill you in on all the details...
How did you meet? We met back in 2011. On our first date, I knew Richard would one day be my husband.
Tell us about the proposal: I took Richard to Bali for his 30th birthday. We went to our favourite water park, "Waterbom", and as we were going down a waterslide, he proposed!
Location of wedding: Bali Garden Beach Resort, opposite Waterbom, where Richard proposed.
Describe your wedding day: Relaxed, hot and fun! We were very lucky and had 31 guests fly to Bali from New Zealand and Australia.
Richard spent the start of the day in the pool drinking Bintang beers with friends, as I got ready with the girls.
We had our ceremony just before sunset on the lawn overlooking the pool and beach. The reception was in front of the pool, where we had fireworks whilst cutting the cake.
We also had fireworks for our first dance and we let lanterns off at the end of the night.
The dress: "Zoe" from To Cherish bridal in Christchurch. It was the first dress I tried on, and I later had lace straps added.
The flowers: My bouquet consisted of over 50 red roses with pink and white frangipanis. My bridesmaids had bouquets of frangipanis.
Highlight of the wedding: Being in Bali with friends and family. The lanterns and fireworks were cool, too! I also loved our cake.
The honeymoon: From Bali we went to the Gili Islands, Cambodia and Singapore.
