Globally renowned Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will host a youth themed seminar in Auckland next month.
The seminar will be open to the public, and will discuss issues facing youth in New Zealand and throughout the world.
"Here in New Zealand youth problems are widespread, from P labs to tragically preventable youth road deaths.
"The issues you face are not your own, they are mirrored around the world," Shankar said.
Art of Living Foundation New Zealand spokesperson Raksha Rughani said Shankar has reached out to millions of people worldwide through personal interactions, public events, teachings and humanitarian initiatives.
He most recently addressed a presidential conference in Jerusalem, discussing a range of topics including leadership concerns in Israel and Palestine, ecological deterioration and political instability.
The Auckland seminar on April 5 is titled Ancient Wisdom for Today's Challenges. Conflict resolution and women's empowerment will also be discussed at the seminar, and plenty of advice will be given on how to achieve a stress free mind and body.
Tickets are available through ticketdirect.co.nz.
Art of Living Foundation is an educational and humanitarian non profit, non governmental organisation.
