Victoria Beckham has reportedly splashed out on a NZ$60,000 state-of-the-art home gym.
The famously svelte star is increasing her fitness sessions with a personal trainer, claims an insider. As well as upping the amount of times she works out, Beckham has also snapped up some top of-the-range exercise equipment for her Los Angeles home.
"Victoria felt her body had reached a plateau, so she's bought loads of new equipment and has tried to make her home gym as luxurious as possible. Her trainer, Ronald Jean, used to work with her three days a week, but he now comes to the house every day when she's in LA," a source told British magazine Closer.
"For the first hour, Victoria will run, then she'll work on her back, legs and abs with squats, lunges, side planks and sit-ups. Finally, before bed, she does up to 200 sit-ups, planks and uses a skipping rope for one-minute bursts."
According to insiders, Beckham is feeling more relaxed about her diet because of her increased exercise plan.
The fashion designer is now happy to get involved with family meals with husband David and her brood.
"Her intake is still regulated, but if David and the boys are having a meal, she'll join them, but have much smaller portions," the source added.
"She had friends over on Good Friday and make chocolate crispy cakes. Then, over the weekend, David cooked pancake breakfasts. Victoria even organised an Easter egg hunt for the boys and their pals, and on Easter Sunday, they met the Ramsays for a three-hour lunch."
The Beckhams have sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven and eight-month-old daughter Harper together.
