A nude portrait of a pregnant Sienna Miller has been unveiled as part of an exhibition in Berlin.

The painting, by British artist Jonathan Yeo, was created a few weeks before the 30-year-old actress gave birth to her daughter Marlowe in July, and is part of a new exhibition (I've Got You) Under My Skin.

Miller follows on the footsteps of Demi Moore, who posed naked while pregnant on the cover of Vogue 22 years ago.

Moore's picture was taken by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz and caused controversy at the time. Since then other stars, including Kate Moss and Jessica Simpson, have posed for similar shots.

In his exhibition catalogue, Yeo said the painting of Miller was a tribute to her courage and self-confidence, according to The Daily Mail.

"The power of the painting partly lies in the fact that Sienna is widely regarded as being one of the most naturally beautiful actresses in the world as well as being a fashion icon to a generation of girls."

Yeo said he wanted Miller's natural beauty to make the "sharpest possible contrast" with his other paintings, which documents patients undergoing cosmetic surgery.

The artists has also painted portraits of other celebrities, including Minnie Driver, Nicole Kidman and Dennis Hopper.
