The oh-so loveable Jennifer Lawrence, 23, is Harper's Bazaar UK's November cover girl, and in the interview the gorgeous actress reveals just how strong the stay-thin pressure is on young stars in Hollywood.
"I was young, it was just the kind of s**t that actresses have to go through," the Oscar winner tells the UK fashion glossy of how she was treated pre-golden statue, "Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet."
But while Lawrence admits that this "hurt", the Kentucky girl is now confident in herself and also admirably defiant: "if anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet', I'm like, 'You can go f*** yourself.'"
She also continues to convince us that she's a truly normal person with quotes like these: "My bodyguard Gilbert, right before they call 'action,' I'm like, 'If there aren't Cheez-Its here by the time they call cut, just go home.' And he'll start running. It cracks me up how seriously he takes it .... It's not my performance that is motivating me. I want to get the on-set catering."
Lawrence is currently filming the film adaptation of the third and final Hunger Games book (which is being drawn out over two movies, natch), while she has the films Serena, X Men: Days of Future Past, American Hustle and Dumb and Dumber To in post-production.
Meanwhile, the second Hunger Games film hits theatres next month. We're very close to being in FULL fan-girl meltdown mode ... here's the trailer:
