The Central Ukulele Festival attracted some 650 young, and not so young, players to a mega jam at Arena 2 in Palmerston North on Saturday.

The day-long event, organised by Jennifer Moss, helped players extend their repertoire and broaden their skills in workshops, culminating in a mass performance. Manawatu Standard photographer Murray Wilson was there.
