Police hunting a patched Rebels gang who has escaped electronic bail have warned the public not to approach him.
Craig Wayne Matthews, 37, was arrested as part of Operation Stamp in February last year and had accepted an 11 year sentencing indication on methamphetamine dealing and money laundering charges.
He was due to be arraigned on the charges in the Palmerston North District Court on September 21, but failed to show.
He was last seen by family in Palmerston North the morning of his court appearance, but did not return home to Wanganui as expected.
Police have issued a warrant for Matthews' arrest, and would like to hear from anyone who knows of his whereabouts.
He is described as caucasian, about 1.84m tall, and of medium - solid build.
Central District Field Crime Supervisor Detective Inspector Chris Bensemann said Matthews had gang associates throughout the North Island and connections in Otaki, Foxton, Hamilton, Auckland, Whangarei and Kaitaia.
Matthews should not be approached by members of the public, he said.
Anyone with information should call their nearest police station or the anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
