Woodville will feature in an online comedy which has received funding from NZ On Air.
Clayweaver Productions has received $44,819 from NZOA's Digital Media Fund Ignite scheme as part of $200,000 of funding announced today.
A statement from NZOA said Woodville would be a six-episode online comedy about small town New Zealand.
''Viewers will follow different members of Hawke's Bay's Woodville community as they rally together against a threat to their rural splendour.''
Details about who would feature in the show or what the threat to the community is have not been revealed.
DMF Ignite is a small project fund supprting creative digital media ideas. The maximum a project can receive is $45,000.
