At last, fine weather for the last week of Rose Gardens Spring Business House Competition!
The bad weather had seen play postponed on two occasions so the finals were two weeks later than planned. This had some unexpected outcomes with some members of school teams playing in their best suits, between school end of year functions.
The winning school age team was Dark Lords on a countback from Awatapu Daisy Chains. Awatapu Girl troopers won the consolation event from Intermediate Normal Golf Croqueters. The Crims beat Clam Jam in the final of the Novices Competition and the Experienced Competition was won by Gentle Dentals after several years of trying and not quite making it.
Despite the weather, it was a successful event and all look forward to better weather for the Autumn Competition starting in February.

Association Croquet Interclub
In their postponed round nine match with Takaro, played on Monday, Feilding won 4-0. They now lead the table with 27 points from Rose Gardens on 23. With only one round to play and a maximum of four points available to each team, it would be a brave person who would bet on anyone but Feilding winning this year's Interclub. However, it's not over yet!
