The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was called out twice yesterday.
About 10am the chopper was called to a farm near Flemington in Hawke's Bay after a man was kicked by a bull.
The man suffered multiple injuries and was stabilised by St John paramedics before being airlifted to Palmerston North.
About 4pm the helicopter was sent to Taoroa Junction, east of Taihape, where a man was injured in a logging accident.
He was stabilised by St John paramedics and airlifted to Palmerston North in a stable condition.
