Cell phone users may be experiencing problems in Palmerston North as multiple towers have stopped working.
Telecom's mobile network users had issues yesterday in Manawatu-Wanganui, Hawke's Bay, and West Coast regions.
Telecom technical analyst Ravi Sharma said heavy cell phone traffic was found to be the cause and most towers are now working.
However, there were still issues with six towers in Palmerston North.
Sharma said the case was under investigation but there was no indication of when the issues will be resolved.
