Shoestring Circus calls for talent

Their theatre is as unpredictable as their hairstyles, and from July they will be coming to a stage near you.
The Shoestring Circus is a young theatre company founded by Bridget Hughes, who wants to provide an outlet for Palmerston North's theatrical talent.
Their first show, Quality Programming, will be an improvisation-based performance based on what would happen if the viewer could control everything they watched. It involved audience participation, and would be a dynamic piece of live theatre, Ms Hughes said.
"Anything that's new and interesting, we'd really like to give it a go, and have local people bringing forward ideas. Having so much talent in Palmerston North, it's worth using it."
Auditions are at 2pm today and 2pm next Saturday in the Sound and Vision section of the Palmerston North library.
