Feilding residents are rallying together to reflect on the community's recent tragedies and pay their respects to those who have lost their lives.
Feilding Promotion has organ-ised "Our Community Cares" to show support to family and friends affected by the tragedies, and also to give thanks to the volun-teers and emergency services involved. Feilding has been rocked by three untimely deaths in the past two months.
Scott Guy was murdered on the driveway of his Aorangi Rd home on July 8.
Manawatu Flight Training chief flying instructor Jess Neeson and flying student Patricia Smallman died when their Cessna 152 collided with another plane on July 26.
Lieutenant Tim O'Donnell, 28, of Feilding, was killed in Afghanistan when his three-vehicle patrol was attacked with explosives on August 4.
The service will be held on August 27 from 5pm, with the community service starting at 5.30pm, at the Clock Tower in Feilding.
