All Anna Harkness wants for Christmas is balanced boobs so she can wear a bikini with confidence.
The Palmerston North mother-of-two won a nationwide radio competition to find the most deserving breasts of a $15,000 boob job.
Mrs Harkness – who has one B cup breast and one almost flat – won 30 per cent of the vote in the competition. She does not want to up-size to the Pamela Anderson variety; the cleavage of actress Megan Fox would suffice.
"I'm only a little person, I don't want DD or anything extreme."
Since her teens, she has donned baggy clothes and avoided strapless dresses and sexy lingerie.
Weighing a petite 56 kilograms, she cannot wait to finally wear tight-fitting clothes and a bikini.
"I'm looking forward to wearing nice clothes, I've never worn a halter neck top because my smaller boob would fall out," she said.
The Rock competition had more than 450 couples enter images on the radio station's website.
Mrs Harkness said she felt deserving of the prize as she would not have entered if her breasts were the same size.
The most difficult part was yet to come though, as the thought of surgery terrified her.
"The competition was the easy part, I'm such a nervous wreck about what's ahead," she said.
Mrs Harkness had been researching plastic surgeons and aimed to have the upgrade by Christmas.
Her husband, Jason Harkness, suggested she enter the competition after hearing about it on the radio.
He promised to buy her new lingerie and said he would take a week off work to act as her nurse.
"My husband thinks it's really excellent, he's going to have some new toys to play with," Mrs Harkness said.
