Young Labourers help

Young Labour Party members are making their way down the country helping communities and discussing politics, stopping in Levin today.
Travelling in a van from Auckland to Invercargill, the group of 15 to 26 year olds are volunteering in towns and cities along the way as part of the 2011 Clarion Road Tour.
The group will also be using the tour to talk to people about the issues it believes are the most important for this year's election.
Young Labour president Analiese Jackson said the journey was about putting the principles of social justice and community service into action.
"It's not really a political thing," she said.
"We're doing a whole bunch of different things, including helping out in a kindergarten and doing maintenance work, building fences for Riding for the Disabled, making up food parcels, gardening and helping out at Levin's A and P show this weekend."
Yesterday, the members were planting trees in Whanganui.
