Construction is under way for a new burger franchise, a popular fish and chip shop is for sale and a new tenant takes over an old site, all in this week's Business Time.
*The new Burger King restaurant in Palmerston North is under construction. Groundwork has begun on the site, at the corner of Rangitikei and Matipo streets. Other fast food restaurants currently being built in the city include Wendy’s and Carl’s Jr.
*The former location of Pridex Kitchens on Railway Rd has a new tenant. Home and garden outlet store Life Outside is now in the former office of the kitchenware manufacturer. Pridex shut up shop earlier this year after a big decline in business.

*Fish n’ chip store Double 8 Nine in Roslyn is for sale. The business, which is open Tuesday to Sunday, is for sale by negotiation.
*Taxis Gold and Black are in the process of updating their fleet. By April next year the company plans to have their drivers all using new-model Fords, including some which run off LPG.
*The Manawatu franchise for Fastway Couriers is for sale. For sale by negotiation, the franchise currently runs out of a depot on Bennett St.
