A Levin company has been ordered to pay a former employee $3000 compensation after she was made redundant.
The Employment Relations Authority ruled that Autoglas-Stieger Levin did not give Cindy Soo the chance to have input into the situation faced by the business, a situation she did not find out about until her employment ended.
The authority had previously ordered the company to pay Ms Soo $720 wages and $967 holiday pay.
