An unemployed Shannon man who got into an argument with a neighbour at the pub popped next door later in the evening armed with a metal pole.
On August 22, Jeremy Paul Lynn, 30, got into a scuffle with his neighbour’s mother, but no damage was done.
In the Levin District Court yesterdayntse he was sentenced to 125 hours’ community work on a charge of possession of a weapon.
