Palmerston North rugby fans will tomorrow get the chance to shake hands with the man who led the All Blacks to World Cup glory.

Sir Graham Henry will be promoting his biography, The Final Word, with a signing at Paper Plus on The Square.

Store manager Gary Hayman expected a large turnout.

"He’s a popular man and I'm sure people will be excited to meet him. There’s been a lot of interest already.

"When Piri Weepue held his book signing there were queues down to the pedestrian crossing so that should give an indication of what we are expecting."

Sir Graham’s book has been in the headlines recently after his suspicions around match-fixing in the 2007 World Cup quarterfinal against France were covered in depth.

Mr Hayman said the book not only offers controversy to keep the reader entertained, but also presents Sir Graham in a different light.

"It gives a great inside view into a man who never gave much away publicly."

The signing will start at 12:30pm and go for at least an hour.

Next Tuesday marks a year since the Rugby World Cup final, where the All Blacks beat France 8-7.

The lower drink-driving limits from December are:

Great - too much carnage on our roads.

Overkill - targets moderate drinkers, not the heavies

Still too little - make it zero tolerance.

Sensible - punishment is in line with lesser breaches of limit.
