More fling than spring: Wet and windy weather discouraged some stallholders from attending the Foxton Spring Fling yesterday.
However, event co-ordinator Di Traynor said for the 70 merchandisers and the public who did turn out, the effort was worth it.
The activities, talent show and performances all went ahead, apart from the belly dancing. Many of the stalls were set up under verandas to avoid risk to gazebos in the wind, and some stalls were set up in the Memorial Hall.
