The Duchess of Cornwell's trip from Feilding to Massey University in Palmerston North caused some disruption to motorists when traffic lights along Botanical Rd, Park Rd, and Fitzherbert Ave were turned off to accommodate her motorcade.

Senior Sergeant Brett Calkin said the lights went off just after 2pm and again around 3.30pm as she came and went from the city.

An officer was assigned to each intersection to direct traffic.

Will Aaron Cruden's omission hurt or help the All Blacks?

Hurt - he needs as much game time as possible.

Help - finally Beauden Barrett will get a proper run.

Hmmm - no biggie, just a temporary hitch.

Who is Cruden? I support the All Whites.
