You better watch out, Santa Claus is coming to Palmerston North this weekend and he’s not the only one preparing his suit and sleigh for the annual Christmas parade.

The Manawatu Gang Show crew gathered yesterday to prepare their recycling-inspired parade float.

Mikayla Dooney and Alex Charleston posed as beautiful baubles on their train float outside the Raukawa Scout Hall in Limbrick St.

The scouts are also making a Christmas tree out of recycled goods, so you should expect more life-sized decorations on Saturday.

The parade starts at 4pm from outside All Saints Church in Church St before making a lap around The Square.
