A Palmerston North resident has won $20,000 from a Keno ticket costing just $1.

The winning ticket was bought from Pioneer New World and is the second big lottery win in the city this month.

Just two weeks ago, Yvonne from Palmerston North announced she would be replacing her 20-year-old mattress after winning $500,000 from a promotional Lotto prize.

Yvonne, who did not want her surname made public, bought her ticket from Countdown on Rangitikei St.

Do you have faith in police solving burglaries?

Yes - there's no faulting their commitment.

Mostly, but they are under-resourced.

Sort of - depends on when and where.

Not really - clearly a low priority for them.

Absolutely not.

Not sure - luckily I've never been burgled.
