Police still seeking wagon sightings

Levin police are still seeking information on a white wagon in connection with the death of farm worker Michael Valentine.

Valentine, 27, died from a single stab wound to the chest on February 1 at his home on the outskirts of Levin.

Three men have been arrested, Stoyan Militch, 31, who has been charged with murder and assault with a weapon, Brayden Windley, 22, charged with assault and assault with a weapon, and Michael Paul Zimmerman, 29, charged with assault with a weapon.

A white 1997 4WD Mitsubishi Pajero, registration CTJ418, was seized by police and they have been appealing for sightings of its movements on the night Valentine died.

Detective Marc Hercock said police hadn't received much feedback from the public, any they would still like to hear from anyone who saw the wagon between the hours of 6pm to 2am 1-2 February.
