Police at the scene of the Levin District Court bomb threat.

Levin District Court has reopened after it was earlier evacuated following a bomb threat.

Levin Police confirmed a threat had been made in a phone call and the court had been evacuated as a precaution.

About 10 police officers were at the scene.

The threat had said the bomb was due to "go off" at 1:15pm, however the court was reopened around 2pm without incident.
