Bar business liquidated
A business owned by Levin man William Scott has been liquidated, owing $300,000. Two Black Sheep Tavern ran an Upper Hutt bar, which it sold in 2012. It is estimated that the business has $69,000 in assets, largely made up of money owed from the sale. David Vance of Deloitte is in charge of the liquidation.
Double the sugar fix
Two sweet new businesses have opened in Cuba St, Palmerston North. Humbug Sweets and Petit Fours - both based around sweet treats - have opened across the road from Crank-It Cycles.
