A tractor and a trailer unit have tipped over, blocking the south-bound lane of State Highway 1 near Sanson.
Police said the driver of the tractor is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
The truck involved in the crash was carrying a full load of items including timber, boxes of chips and toilet paper.
The south-bound lane, about 1km south of Sanson, would be blocked blocked while a crane is brought in to lift the tractor and trailer off the road.
Motorists heading through the area may experience some delays while this is being cleared.
